Video Editing and Social Media Interns Needed

Screentakes is seeking interns to assist with eBook development and production, including the launch of an crowdfunding campaign. This is a great educational opportunity for someone interested in the art of screenwriting who wants to develop their video editing and social media marketing skills.

Responsibilities:
Edit videos for inclusion in multimedia eBooks
Marketing support for crowdfunding campaign
Social media presence for Website
Assist with website updating
Assist with e-mail newsletters
Assist with affiliate marketing

Qualifications:
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro 10
Knowledge of social media platforms
Knowledge of WordPress
General proficiency with digital technologies
Deep interest in screenwriting as an art form
Love of film

Pluses:
Familiarity with Pages, Keynote and iBooks Author
Familiarity with Vimeo
Familiarity with data tracking
Knowledge of Photoshop
Knowledge of html

Schedule:
This can be a full- or part-time position. One day a week minimum, which can be worked in two half days.

Terms:
This is an unpaid internship. Help is available for travel expenses if needed. Open to arranging credit for student interns. With crowdfunding campaign success, a paid position may open up.
