Seeking Part-time Project Manager

Screentakes Digital Publishing is a small start-up company publishing media-rich, multi-output screenbooks that use video, audio and interactive graphics for screenplay analysis. We are also developing an automated publishing platform geared to the needs of media makers wanting to enter digital publishing. We are looking to fill a part-time position with significant opportunity for growth. Candidates with experience in film and screenwriting will be of particular interest.

Project management areas include:
Screenbook Production
On-line Store/Outreach
Office Management

Screenbook Production Tasks
1. Oversee production of new digital screenbook from start to finish.
2. Facilitate communication among the production team.
3. Provide support to the creative team.
4. Prioritize and monitor progress on production tasks.
5. Oversee and manage beta testing.
6. Maintain production schedule and budget.

On-line Store/Outreach Management Tasks
1. Manage customer support and technical support requests.
2. Manage quality control monitoring of store and products. Troubleshoot as needed.
3. Manage production of outreach materials.
4. Monitor sales data and internal accounts.
5. Generate monthly sales reports.

Office Management
1. Monitor internal and external company communications.
2. Maintain vendor accounts.
3. Monitor business deadlines.
4. Maintain technical procedures documentation.
5. Monitor and troubleshoot IT needs.

Required Skills:
Familiarity with WordPress, Asana, Mailchimp, Google Docs, Dropbox
Ability to learn new software and technologies
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Resourcefulness, adaptability, initiative, problem solving
Ability to foster team cooperation
Familiarity with coding is a plus

Compensation is $25/hour to start for 20 hours per week. Our offices are in San Rafael, CA. Applicants must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
